"Even if the stars refused to shine..."
Lately, I've been very busy with everything. Year2 life is really hectic for me. In a 5-day school week I reach home between 1015pm to 1130pm on 4 out of 5 days. Double math tuitions and now chem tuition is really taking its toll on me. I have to complete not only my tutorials but also tuition homework. What an interesting life. Haha. Everytime a good movie shows in cinema or I feel like going somewhere nice to eat, I think twice about it. That's JC2 life for me.
I guess I'm getting used to this "new life" more and more. More adept to deal with abrupt situations. Learning how to maintain and control expressing myself in different ways.
The U-19 3-on-3 floorball tournament at national library we had to help out yesterday was quite a success I guess. I enjoyed myself playing with cher han and zong xing. I thought we played very well. We missed qualifying for the semi-finals by just a bit. We won 3 matches and drew 2 in group stage. I think I've improved ever since "that time". I guess I'm just very frustrated till I really want to push myself hard to prove others wrong. Yesterday was also the first time I had to be the photographer for the event. =\ My coach passed me his boss' DSLR and asked me to take photos for the tournament. I was like o.0.
I'm quite glad that I'm more or less settling down in a church after about 2months of looking around. I really hope it's the right place for me to be. Somehow, I don't really miss my previous church as much anymore. Circumstances made it that way I guess.
I really hope this upcoming week will be better. I'm praying that my left ankle and foot heals by tomorrow. It's hurting really badly and I'm limping at home. Yes, I'll be healed by tomorrow.
I'm so gonna wake up early tomorrow morning to catch the last episode of Gundam 00 Season 1 when it's downloaded. I'm such an anime and gundam freak. Random.
The stars may fade,
But my smile will still remain.
Twinkling stars,
No more they can be..
For me.

Okay, here's a post to sum up my march holidays in photos (and also yesterday). I've uploaded mainly the group outings and stuffs. So, here they are!
Sunday 09/03/2008 - Botanic Gardens with 07S47 and Lunch with Family
Monday 10/03/2008 - Photoshoot with Ah mah at home
It was a monday afternoon. We were suspended from training, I didn't make plans with anybody to go out and was stuck at home the whole afternoon before going out at night to celebrate Leslie's, an ex-church friend, birthday. It was raining really heavily, so I thought that I should do something fun at home. My ah mah was sitting on the sofa pretty bored, so I decided to ask her to pose for me. I borrowed a photography book on posing the day before, and felt quite inspired. I made used of the lamp beside her and adjusted accordingly. My ah mah is really photogenic by the way. :D

My favourite photo from the photo shoot. I wanted to portray that even though my grandmother might be old, she still has a youthful, playful side to her, like a hidden child inside everyone of us. Senior citizens may seem old, but they still have the capacity of embracing what is way below their age.
Tuesday 12/03/08 - Out with Anthea, Dominic and Vanessa at the Cathay
The photo of the day and probably one of my favourite photos of the year! Vanessa and dominic look so sweet and loving together in this photo.Friday 21/03/2008 - At the Cathay and selegie tau huay with floorballers
The first time I went out with them this year I think. We decided to go eat tau huay at my favourite tau huay place. Photos with the courtesy of Kelly's camera.Yup, that's all the photos for now. Maybe I will post up some old nostalgic photos soon. :)

The day 07S47 made history, with a 100mark maths script coming from our class. Haha. I managed to touch a 100mark script and I'm so motivated now. Right right...
I'm glad I've been rather happy even though school started.
I got back 3 of my subjects. I'm really very thankful to Mr Teo for all the scoldings in the past 1year. He really kicked me out of my comfort zone and motivated me to study hard for maths. I studied hard three times for three major examinations and failed all 3. I'm quite glad I managed to get a C now, at the fourth attempt.
On the other hand, I realised the reality of how much I suck at chem. Haha. I got a U grade for my paper but overall I had 30%. I was super shocked because I studied hard and didn't expect to fail that badly. I wished I had Miss Lyana to help me do another miracle for chem like in sec4. I'm not gonna give up though!
I can't wait for Arts day and feeling fab which is on tomorrow. It will be followed by a super long weekend given the fact that thursday's a full day and there's good friday.
A good, long rest awaits us victorians. :)
By the way, thanks edward and kelly for the beautiful and touching heart-2-heart cards. Really appreciate it and they really made my day, yesterday. :) I think I'm one different guy who really likes cards and small notes. Haha.

Hey people! JT is back to embrace life with his trademark small boy smile (plus some wide-angle distortion effect from the camera lens)! Haha. Yes yes, that's a response to the tags. A BIG smile from me.
I will wear my bright smile and be my cheery self, as always. :)
Because I know I have so much more in life. I'm really really happy now. Even though I know that bits of emotional downs will be present.
March holidays was a good break for me and also a good time when I really evaluated myself and my life. I got to know myself so much better! I'll post up some photos taken during the holidays soon. It's 1am! I better go pack my bag for school.
Thank you, all the people who have showed much concern for me. I won't let you all down. :)

Even when your hope is gone,
Move along move along
Like I know you would.
The theme for this blog is really applicable in such times.
I guess I've learnt to accept things the way they are, face it, whatsoever. Ignore what others might say, ture or untrue. At least, I know I'm better off than people who have been wrongly accused of murder and sent for life-time imprisonment.
These few days have really been dramatic for me. When I say dramatic, I really mean it. Because it's really a whole life-learning process. Like realising what the world is like, adapting to problems and all.
Most importantly, I feel what I've gained out of all these is knowing who are my true friends. I'm really thankful to the people who really stood up for me and encouraged me. I'm really appreciative. I've managed to wear a nice, loving smile because of such people. :) My mom was rather funny. She told me maybe it's a good thing, because I'll have more time to myself then.
Whatever it may be, I'll still put in my utmost effort, like how I did before.
I'm not all over it yet, but I'll get over it soon and become stronger. Afterall, I'm quite used to setbacks in life.
Everything happens for a reason, right? :)

It's so sad this had to happen. I seriously didn't expect things to be handled this way. It also shows how much I've failed as a leader to prevent such things from happening beforehand.
Thankfully I had wonderful classmates to keep me company the whole day.
I went back to my childhood church FCBC today with my sister. I really liked it there even though the church has changed so much. I guess I might just go back there even though I don't exactly have many friends there.
Okay, back to the classmates part.
We went to botanic gardens today. Unfortunately, it rained heavily and we ended up staying in a pavillion at the national orchid garden for 3hours+++. We played jenga, twister and yes, truth or dare in it. It was rather embarrassing as there were people watching us and there was even a person who snapped a photo of us in weird positions during a game of twister.
The best thing was that, we stayed there SO LONG that we got locked in. We didn't know that it closes at 7pm and it so happened that nobody chased us out of the large garden. We ended up having to call the main station which then helped us get out. The day ended with a delectable spread of food at chomp chomp, followed by award-winning mudpies at Ice Cube.

Okay, I passed chinese. HAHA. No more chinese lessons for me. (Finally...) I got an E and I just passed my oral. Thank you lao shi and fellow classmates who taught me chinese the day before.
VJ did quite well. Three cheers for seniors! It was nice seeing all my seniors come back. I'm somewhat quite scared of screwing up my A's like how my tuition teacher talked about his students. Some were complacent and ended up with Bs and Cs even though they were expected to get straight As.
I really have to mention my track senior. He's really stunning man. In sec4, he had an F9 for his amaths prelims and got an A1 for O's. This time he did it again. He scored an S for maths during prelims and got an A for A's. Amazing.

Today, I had a nice family dinner at some nice restaurant. The food was really good. It was a pity I didn't bring my big cam to take photos of the food. We were celebrating my dad, sister and mom's birthday which all fall within a span of 2weeks. It's quite nice having my sister back. At least the house is more lively now. Do I look like my sister??
I guess I will use my holidays to relax and catch up with friends. And yes, hopefully take some nice photos during my explorations.
Have a great holiday fellow people! :)

Today was one hectic day! I just got back from tuition and I really wish there are 25hours to a day. I haven't studied for physics yet! (no thanks to gp in the morning and econs which ended at 5pm) =X
And yes! My sister just got back from London. It's a pity she didn't buy back krispy kreme donuts because they weren't fresh. But but but, she bough back truckloads of food for me. :D Chocolates and biscuits!
It feels kinda weird though. I kinda got used to being the only one in the house most of the time. It's like being the single child when she's away.
I need a miracle for tomorrow. I'm dead tired.
Been quite happy lately! I think. Maybe because all my energy and time is channelled into studying that I forget about the other things around me. :D Ignorance is bliss eh.

Chemistry today was amazingly bad. I was not as stunned before in an exam as I was today. I studied for it, but just couldn't remember or the stuffs I studied harder didn't come out.
I really really hope I can get an S. I was thinking throughout the paper whether I should drop chem to H1. It's quite disheartening to accept the fact that I'm in year2 and still is doing this bad in my studies despite putting in significant effort.
The best thing to do now is to remain positive and embrace whatever the outcome might be. Econs is tomorrow. I just have this bad feeling about it.
So what can be better than going home after a terrible paper and enjoying my gundam anime and playing minesweepers on msn? :P

One down, many more to go...
One step at a time, one thing at a time..

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme...
The day will come, will come...
When I can finally heave a sigh of relief. One by one all these burdens will be lifted up. I can't wait to treat myself to a good meal, good ice cream, good chocolates and spend a day out with my camera whom I have neglected so much. I really missed those times when I was so bored at home on a sunday and would make impromtu photo trips around Singapore.
Too much studying can be detrimental to one's ability to live life fully. Sometimes we can get so carried away studying till we neglect the basic essentials around us.
