Last night, a group of us 4F people went to celebrate jansen and sean james' birthday. It was a great meet up session where we went on and on about all the retarded times in VS together. And goodness me, I got reminded about how *ahem ahem* some people or rather person was the victim of all the paper bullets. It was so hilarious the way *ahem* talked about it.
All the stupid stuffs we did in VS is way way better than our time in VJ. Like how we had our "underground soccer competition" at the back of our classroom everyday before prelims period. Nothing beats being in a retarded class in a retarded school. (and yes, seth still has his one eye-brow. :P) Life in school was so fun back then and I looked forward to going to school everyday. The school where we can really be ourselves.
We shall meet again, soon.
Earlier in the week, I went for my last national schools cross country meet. It was teh worst cross-country location in my 6years of attending it. Firstly, the area is so small. Secondly, the route is really bad. Thirdly, it poured so crazily and there wasn't even prize-giving ceremony. Thankfully VS won the B division. VJ performed ok-ok I guess.. Dont worry de cruz, there's always national schools track in July..
I really do miss being a tracker in 4F like the rest of the track and field people in 4F above. It feels different now. My fitness is really so far far away from that when I was in track. Haha. Okay, I shall leave another post for all these nostalgic track moments.

I must say that friday was the best school day of the year, apart from orientation days which were obviously the best. I brought my camera to school and everyone had lots of fun camwhoring with her. Wayne was the best. In the morning I received an sms from him saying that he sprained his ankle while getting down from the bus and apparently it was quite serious. He somehow managed to conceal his injury while performing! Good job!
After school, we headed down to chin hao's house at Lavender. His new house is on the 37th storey and the view is so so so good I tell you. We slacked around, bathed, played piano and watched friends. Friends is the best comedy of all time and it nearly made us late for musicfest.
Musicfest this year was rather disappointing as it paled in comparism to the previous year's musicfest. The vocal groups were really good! The three choir girls won and their voices are so captivating. Don't worry wayne, you did a good job too and did us proud! I felt that the bands were good just that the sound system in the PT wasn't good enough to bring out the vocals.
Yup, I shall let the photos do the talking.
Musicfest 2008
Okay, that's all for now. I guess the next school event I'm looking forward to is sports day.

The bus rides from school to tuition on fridays are normally the most emo bus rides. Because inside me I really really want to bond and spend time with my teammates, but I always have to run off immediately after training for tuition. Friday nights are always the best times for team dinners and everything like that. Sadly, I always miss such friday outings. Maybe that's why I don't get as much chance to be as close to them as I wished I could. That's the opportunity cost of brushing up on my maths, I guess.
I really love the team and the people in it a lot, it's just that I just dont show it out directly as I don't express myself as freely and openly there. Furthermore, I'm quite quiet and serious at times during training. The people in floorball makes me not want to give up on floorball (which I have to truthfully admit, am quite sick of competitive sports after 8years of it). Now with the juniors around, things are getting more fun. Today's physical training was really fun.
I shan't talk about my day but I really want to thank some of my friends for cheering me up through their small, sincere acts of showing concern when I really needed it the most.
I ended my day with green tea latte blended ice from the green tea shop at raffles city. It was so refreshing and delectable after a long day in school, training and tuition. I just love such green tea stuffs. It was the most enlightening drink that I've had in a long time.
I shouldn't expect much from
anything or anybody,
Should I?
A safety measure to prevent disappointments.

It sucks so hard to know people take advantage of you because you can be taken advantage of easily.
It sucks even harder to know that these people are actually your so-called friends.
It sucks the worst to know that the world out there is even worse than all these.
Sometimes being nice isn't the best thing to do. I've always been told that being nice will only let you become made used of and eaten up in the real world. Somehow that didn't convince me.
I realised these days I can no longer coop up my angst and displeasures. I'm just so tired of everything that I choose not to put in any effort in suppressing the outward expressions of my inward displeasures. So if you see me pissed and moody, you know why. I'm normally not like that, so sorry if I accidentally daoed anybody. I'm also a human and have feelings. I used to be able to take people's teasing, but to tell you the truth, I've always hated it, it's just that I've never voiced it out.
It's so sad when I see strong friendships between people around getting ruined just because either one side decides not to commit so much to that friendship and focuses on another. Speak of loyalty. People don't really know how to appreciate the people who care for them the most, do they?
Yeah, I'm no longer the happy, cheerful jt everyone knew in VS. I've changed I know. Circumstances made it so. In life, change is the only constant and all we have to do is move along.
Okay, finally vented it out.

I've waited some time to blog out this post. This post is dedicated to all my friends back there at Revival Generation, youth group of Revival Centre Church.
Revival Generation has been the place which has seen me grow the most pleasant 4years of my life from 2003 to 2006. I'm who I am today because of them and how much they have taught me. Many close friendships have been forged there. We had gone through so many ups and downs, shed many tears together and shared many happy moments together.
I really enjoyed my time there, but it is rather unfortunate that due to unforseen circumstances, I've decided to move on elsewhere and I'm settling down quite well at Cornerstone Church. I really miss my close friends back in Revival Generation, but I hope you guys really understand how painful it is for me to step out of my comfort zone and change to another church. I really really will never forget about all of you.
All the happy and sad moments together. All the movie, east coast, sentosa, downtown east etc. outings were certainly very memoriable. You guys formed a big big part of my lives back in my secondary school days. And I just want to let you all know that it is not because of VJ that I've changed, from your perspectives. I'm still the same as before, it's just that I may not show it out as much. I still love God as much, love the church as much, just that I'm not as good a christian as before I guess.
Anyway, I have selected a few photos to represent every year at Revival Generation and it's all dedicated to you people. Hope it brings back all the good memories we had together. I didn't include the year 2007 and 2008 because there wasn't much to recollect about due to circumstances. See how much we all have grown across the years.
Year 2003
Yup, that will be all. I wished we all had taken more photos. I didn't post quite a number of photos though due to the un-glam nature of it.
I would really like to thank for leaders for everything and the bunch of same age group close friends I've had. I really miss you guys and I hope you all won't forget about me. May everything go well in Revival Generation.
