After more than 10 years, it has come to an end. An end of a life-changing experience. A process which shaped me into the person I am. A process which serves its purpose of enabling me to express myself more deeply with ease.
This day will be recorded down as a milestone in my life.
Today's the day, I had my last piano lesson. This day could have taken place 4 years ago, but I chose to give myself another chance. I never regretted it. It's a pity though, that circumstances have forced me to make this decision. However, my passion for music and the arts would not die down even though the whole learning process has been heavily restrained.
Afterall, one's expression of the arts will never fade away as long as his existence continues to roam the earth and the expression of his heart is living.
For me, my favourite outlet of expression is through music and photography, although it is apparent that the latter bears much dominance publicly and the former confined privately.
I apologise for the melo-dramatic feel of this post, but I have to admit that staying home for 2days in a row, due to my sickness, has taken a toll on my mental stability and I'm very bored, hence the need to type out a blogpost of such calibre.
On a totally different note, after watching the movie "Meet the Robinsons" just now, I have received a whole new revelation. I've decided that the best thing to do is to "move forward and not look back" as states the underlying theme of the movie. I now know I can't blame you for whatever terrible things that has happened in the whole year. It isn't your fault. I'm moving on from here now, and not allowing the past to cripple me anymore. I hope you would do what's best for yourself too and put it all behind and look forward.

Okay, so here's a short update for today! Cableski on friday was really really fun, and i found out i cant do cableski for nuts. HAHA. And yes, it was really embarassing to not know how to swim. So i ended up wasting most of my time trying to swim back ashore.
Thankfully, i had brought my camera along together with the telephoto lens i borrowed from jonathan tee so i had the chance to take some photos!
I shall be nice this time, so i have decided to post the more photogenic photos. :D
And yes, that's all for cableski. Whoever wants the photos just let me know and i will burn them onto a cd for you.
I had OG outing after cableski. I had to rush home to change and to bathe a second time before rushing out. The same few people turned up for the outing plus 3 others. We watched enchanted which was a dumb but rather nice movie, all thanks to a vibrant chipmunk. :D Fairytales can never happen in reality, that's all i can say. Boooo...

Today was one of those rare days that I get my own company for the whole day. I didn't plan to do anything. The whole house was to myself from morning till night. And of course, I didn't choose to stay at home the whole day.
I rushed down to ICA to collect my new biometric passport, which I wasn't too pleased with as they lengthened the passport photo. Not to mention the two and a half hours of waiting time. I did many things to kill the time for example, eating ice cream by the road, going down to bugis to find the colourful staircases and yes, reading on my "International Trade" economics lecture notes. I thought I might as well start my revision by revising a subject that I have more interest in.
After which, I went down to Bugis Junction again to get myself a good meal. Somehow rather, I ended up walking around randomly taking photos with my camera. I can say that today's the first time I took less than 30shots in a day out with my camera. My dearest camera is really such a good companion I must admit.
It was a joy though to sit by the fountain and watch the people around, while sipping from my bubbletea cup. Noticing the joy on the faces of the children playing, amiable parents, happy couples on their friday night dates really made my night as I found the scene rather interesting.
What a day it was for me. A day out by myself. The feeling of being free with no schedules to keep up with was certainly enjoyable. Then again, it is important to have an active social life, hence such days can only be the last resort. What a nice way to put it ain't it? :D
(Pardon the gloominess of the shophouses, the sky was overcast.)

Yesterday, i went to punggol with two of my classmates, Xianglin and Steffi, as one of them asked me to show them around punggol. I had the best time I ever had in punggol. Punggol would be a place i would normally explore on my own when I'm feeling bored on a sunday afternoon.
I also watched the most expensive sunset I ever had. I paid $5 just to catch the sunset as we were running late and the bus was nowhere in sight. It was worth every single cent. I'm glad I did my part by showing more people about this hidden beauty in Singapore. It will soon be gone my friends. The skies in punggol seem more polluted now, as compared to few months ago. I will gladly take you on a mini tour of punggol should you want to.
Twilight period. That's about all for the photos i took at punggol. I haven't uploaded the rest yet. Today i finally got to take a decent photo of the CBD which I've been longing to do so. The scene is so cliche but i still insist of taking it many times on different days to get a nice photograph and my effort has finally paid off.
The CBD at dusk from the esplanade's rooftop. And that's all I've got for now. Hope you enjoyed this post.

Sorry for the rather wordy post ahead and the lack of photos. anyway...
okay, so project work is finally over! like really really over. i think everything went well for my group. i'm really glad i got put into such a group, as they're not close to me, except wayne who's in our s47 clique. yeah, so whatever many gazillion problems that happened won't strain any close friendships. and yes, i don't want to go into the details of these problems. mr teo already predicted these problems so darn well at the start of the year.
HAHA. i took it as a training process to work with certain people possessing certain character traits in the near future.
After I&R susbmission, we had our class chalet at costa sands downtown east from wed to fri. it's not that good a place to have a chalet, particularly cos of the environment there, and yeah, one of our classmates' sandals got stolen. pretty sums up the whole environment there.
Overall, we had a lot of fun together as a class, okay fine, mostly as a clique as the others didn't really turn up. We watched many movies, shared many stuffs and yeah did many other things that i shan't go into the details. Not mentioning going to wild wild wet for the 5th time in the worst state you can ever be in.
In short, the company was great, 07s47 rocks and that sums it all. :D
HAHA. okay lah, i shan't be that bad and blog so little about it.
Honestly, i thought i could find some space and time alone during the chalet to think, ponder and evaluate life (haha, so philsophical) but i was wrong! okay lah, maybe got for a small period of time.
During the chalet, we found out much stuffs about each other all thanks to this game called "have you never ever" and yeah, unpleasant stuffs happened to me during it. now i understand why people ask you to refrain from certain stuffs. i also understood people's rationale now for wanting to do so in certain circumstances.
And yes, there were emo times as well. Shan't elaborate.
Oh yes! on the last night, we were asked to share about our first impressions about our classmates. then it suddenly struck me that i had not much memories of my 1st 1 month with my class as i always pangseh them for my VS friends! oopppss. =X the 1st 3 months was just interesting. haha.
Also through the chlet, my classmates have sen how un-glam i can get, or rather all of us can get. And how much a lack of sleep can affect me very badly. :D
Thanks so much 07s47 for the time and fun for the past few days. I'm already missing your presence as i type this post at home.
Perhaps the next thing i can look forward to will be my family holiday trip to europe from 10-25th december. yes, i will be missing christmas in singapore. :( but i'm looking forward to meeting my sis and taking some good photos in europe. i haven't spoke to her at all since she left during promos.
so when will it all end,
like how the sun sets...

A particular classmate of mine (identity concealed) asked me why i haven't blog for so long and i decided to be NICE and blog...
Hence this shall be the....
07S47 BLOG POST
I have been spending much of my time with my dearest classmates for the past few weeks, mainly due to our project work stuffs.
On wednesday, i went to meet peiying and xianglin in town after their pw stuffs. Unfortunately, some others could not join us due to personal commitments. They went to window-shop before we came to an agreement that we should find some place to sit, talk and drink coffee. After scouting for many possible locations, we finally found our way to the starbucks along orchard road.
We had a nice cosy spot and apparently there was the "glamour chair" which had a ray of light shining from above onto the seat. It was then that we decided to cam-whore, or rather the omni-presence of my camera made it impossible to avoid cam-whoring. And so we went on... To protect the modesty of my classmates, I have decided not to post the un-glam photos of them.
A great day deserve to have a great ending as well, and so we ended our whole, big cam-whoring adventure at a walkway in Wisma taking photos of ourself at a mirror. We had officially thrown away our faces that day. Never before have I embarassed myself so much in public.
That was not the end. We had an 07s47 sports outing on friday as well. There was 9/10 attendence from our clique, which is surprisingly good attendence. It was a pity that Vanessa couldn't play with us as it would ruin her tennis strokes.
And so we had our sports outing at Toa Payoh Sports and we played badminton. It has been a long time since I played badminton properly and I have to say that I can't really play it as well as before.
We had a whole solid two hours of fun and exercise. All of us really exercised a lot. I managed to play with Xianglin again and this time I won by a small margin of 11-10.
We headed down to Toa Payoh interchange where we took our group photo and decided to embark on our journey to "The Prata House" at Thomson Road.
After waiting terriblely long for the bus to arrive, we finally reached our destination. I must admit that the pratas there are very delectable and crispy. My bomb prata was really the bomb. My honey tissue prata even had whipped cream on it! I'm one who loves whipped cream a lot.
After our scrumptous meal, we decided to head down to a park nearby which was apparently filled with Xianglin's childhood memories. We had much fun there playing on the swing, petting dogs, staring at kids and the list goes on. Steffi seemed so happy on the swing and she went up really high. Chia weei said something about his friend being able to swing 180 degrees. I thought that was cool.
It was not long before the sky turned dark and we decided we should make our move. We decided that we should check out Island Creamery which was near Bukit Timah area. Unfortunately, Xianglin had to go and couldn't join us.
We ordered two tubs of ice cream, namely the teh tarik and apple pie flavours. I really loved the whole ambience of the shop. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded when we got there. It wasn't long before the shop was crowded with people. We left our mark there at the shop with our 07s47 drawing and our group photo which they will paste up on the wall.
And so, this marks the end of a very long and tedious blog post. I literally spent my whole afternoon on it, enchancing and sorting out the photos using photoshop, settling the user rights to un-glam photos and lastly, typing in proper english which i don't normally do so.
I hope you all enjoyed this post, and to that classmate of mine who requested for this post, here it is. :)
