And so this is the last post of 2007...
As the year passed by, i looked back in regret. There were so many things i wished i had undone, so many things i wished i had done better. However, we all know that we cannot go back in time.
I can safely say that 2007 has been the worst year of my life. Never before have i gone through so much before. Perhaps, i was too used to life being too smooth-sailing. Last year, i thought my life was almost perfect and i had everything i needed. This year, i was proven wrong.
I have never feel so demoralised before, especially in the area of my studies. Being thrown from the top to the very bottom. But i guess through it i learnt humility. Having teachers that don't seem friendly and pick on you isn't something i expected. Back in VS, my teachers were like my friends who i could talk to so easily and seek help from.
So many challenges laid out before me. I wished i did a better job leading my team this year, i made many mistakes. I promise i will do a better job next season.
I felt that i have really changed much as a person in just this span of one year. And sadly, it's rather evident to many of my close friends who knew me for quite some time. I was so close to leaving my church for another church due to personal reasons but i didn't. Many people would know that i'm someone who used to be very involved in church.
Anyway, good things have happened as well in 2007. I'm happy i'm in VJC with so many good friends all around me who supported me all the way. I'm so happy that i'm in floorball and loving every moment of it. I'm so happy that this year i have my own pro camera which i had been wanting one for a very long time. Actually there's many many more.. but not enough time to type.
2007 has been one roller coaster year. Good times and bad times. Thank God for them anyway. :)
I really really wish to type more now, but but but i have to go off for 4F class gathering (which is like 5 of us vj people + jansen -.-")! followed by some midnight floorball event at 12AM! What can be better to start the new year than to play floorball? :D
GOODBYE 2007, I WON'T MISS YOU.

OKAY. I'm finally done with all the sorting out of the photos after many nights. And i have decided to post the photos up by the places i've been to together with some narration.
Sorry if the full-sized photo is not that big. I can send the original one to you if you want. So first up we have, LONDON! I stayed in london for the first two (part I) and last two nights (part II) at my sister's place.
WARNING: BE PREPARED FOR A SUPER LONG POST WITH MANY PHOTOS.
LONDON THROUGH MY EYES. (PART I)
This is a view of the main city area of London from the aeroplane. It took me quite a number of tries to get this photo right. By the way, the blue thing there is the London Eye.
This is one of my favourite photos from the series of photos taken in london. This is so as i felt the photo captured much emotions and story in it. It is photographed in a special exhibit in the National Portrait Gallery which is dedicated to the late princess diana. Princess Diana is one who has made much impact on the British society and her death was a great loss to their society and is still mourned for till this very day.
LONDON THROUGH MY EYES. (PART II)
OKAY! That's the end of the photos and narration for London! I hoped you liked it. Next up will be SALZBURG : the home of the Sound of Music and Mozart.

TODAY IS CHOCOLATE OVERLOAD DAY.
i'm so happy i finally got to eat my chocolate buffet at fullerton after like THREE YEARS. i still remember in sec2, me and jake were supposed to go eat but somehow we didn't even after so long.
i went with fellow chocolate-lover and food khaki weeling to go eat since we both wanted to go for it! we were like tahaning the whole day by not eating much just to save our stomachs for it. at first i thought it was $48 but when the bill came it was $38!!! i was quite relieved... my sis gave me wrong info and said it was close to $50! first time splurging on food. but yes, chocolate is love.
and yesssss, the chocolate was like overload man. i feel so chocolaty like a coco crunch. guess what i ate when i went home? MAGGI MEE. hahahaha. photos of buffet below! i didnt really take many photos though.
that's all for now! will be blogging out holiday photos very soon!

HELLO PEOPLE! I'M BACK.
and yes, i'm very tired right now but i'm going to school for OGL preparation stuffs.
haha. i had a good holiday i guess. the weather over there is freezing. i got used to living in climate of sub zero degrees i think and singapore is quite warm. it's quite cool when you wake up and find it snowing all around.
unfortunately, i fell terriblely sick while i was in prague and i didnt really get to see it!! :( :( :( we even had to call a doctor to the hotel and the bill was like $580!!!! thank God there's insurance.
i took many many photos like more than 2000 but i deleted half of them away which leaves me with 1000 photos around there. :D i will upload the photos soon. or i can show you if i bring my camera is with me.
haha. and i feel really really guilty. i shopped a lot there and spent a lot of money. i'm so happy i've got my school bag! which is another crumpler. just that the model cannot find in singapore. and yes i bought another pair of asics tiger shoes. =X i need to control my spending..
it really feels so good to be home. i really miss trainings and all the OG stuffs. the moment i got home i immediately grabbed my floorball stick and started playing. sadly, i've lost touch with my shooting. i hope my fitness ain't that bad. i actually do exercises every other night there. after floorball, i went to play mariage de amour on the piano! my fav! followed by some rag, boogie and jazz pieces to warm up my fingers.
ahh. then again, i dont want to return back to my singaporean life, but i have to.
okay, i need to go to school now. i hope i can last. i'm really tired. i will update more later.
oh by the way, BELATED MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Cause I'm leaving on a jetplane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go...
Nothing beats listening to John Denver's "Leaving on a Jet Plane" just before going for a holiday overseas. Don't worry, I know when I will be back again.
Anyway, I will be gone from December 10-26th. I somewhat excited about going to Europe for the second time. The previous time was in 2005. I will be finding my sis in London before flying to Salzburg in Austria, followed by Vienna, Prague in Czechoslovakia, Budapest in Hungray, back to Vienna and finally reaching London on Christmas Eve.
It's like replaying the movie "Euro Trip". HAHA. Chia weei's favourite movie. I wonder if my US 1 dollar is worth a lot in Eastern Europe as the movie claims. HAHA. Just kidding.
I can't wait to meet my sister. Ironically, I've only talked to her once since she went back to London before promos period. I wonder how's her place like.
On the other hand, sometimes I really dread going away too long from home because I know I will be missing out so much back in Singapore with my friends and all. Not to mention, I will be spending christmas on an aeroplane and not in Singapore with my friends like I always do. And when I'm back it's like so many things will happen without me around like what happenned in 2005 when I went europe. I guess I'm the sort of person that really misses people and things easily.
AHH. And I'm quite sad I won't be able to play floorball and my piano for TWO WEEKS. Then again, I'm quite happy that I won't be using my computer at all for that same period of time.
Honestly, I think I need this long break. Away from everything in Singapore. Literally. Life in Singapore this year has driven me crazy.
Oh my. It's getting late and I need to leave soon. So I guess I will be back on boxing day. By the way, I still can be contactable on my mobile phone and yes, I will reply to sms-es unless if they're like spam. HAHA. I'm not sure whether I will have internet access over there though.
I HOPE I CAN MANY CHANCES TO TAKE NICE PHOTOS THOUGH! :D I BROUGHT 10GB OF MEMORY CARDS. HAHAHA.
GOOD BYE ALL.

Today was an activity-packed day! Went to cut my beloved long, emo hair and then watch the Asia Pacific Floorball Championship finals in the afternoon.
And yes, Singapore Men's team won the finals against Korea. I really felt inspired watching the matches and all the past few times. I really wish that I can be strong enough skillfully, physically and mentally to contribute to my team, work together with them and do vj proud in next year's tournament. I really hope we will not get complacent as time goes by and train hard.
At night, I went to meet Jacob and Dominic! Haha. Can say it's like my VS chinese class clique! Because we always hang out together during chinese lessons. It was nice catching up with jake once again and we finally got to go out after many failed attempts. We had our dinner at spaghetti's and yeah, we did a lot of stupid stuffs and embarassed ourselves. Shan't go into the details. :D All I can say is that they're really people whom I can be very comfortable with no matter what, and yeah, same type!
The three of us! :DAnd yes, I have one more day left in Singapore before I go on my well-deserved break. However, I don't feel that excited to leave the country as I thought I would. In fact, I haven't packed my bag yet. Maybe I shall pack it later on..

Okay, I better blog more before I disappear from Singapore for 16days. So here's another update.
Have you ever heard about coffee or rather latte art? Let me present it to you today! I found out about this really cool art-form when i was surfing the net earlier. I believe that a picture speaks a thousand words and thus I have gathered a series of images from the internet to showcase the finest of the art-form.

Interesting and unbelievable isn't it? That a commodity like coffee can actually be turned into an art-form. Hence the saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". It has taught me an important lesson and truth in life, that beauty can always be found in every little thing in life, it's only a matter of how we choose to see the things around us using this pair of eyes we are blessed with.
By the way, here's the link for a video demonstrating how latte art is being carried out.
Not to forget, I have started uploading a new series of photographs entitled "The Forgotten" featuring the "Soong Sisters Mansion". I will upload one or two new photos everyday till monday.
Through this series of photographs, I hope to make known to people, places in Singapore that have fleeted the sight of public eyes and showcase its forgotten beauty.
Yup, so please support me and take a look here. Thanks so much! I will compile the final series into a post someday.

HAHA. I found this photo on the net and found it very amusing. Don't you feel like laughing at the penguin. It's just so funny! Like so fat and fluffy and out of place. Okay, that was random.
