4F rocks lah.
we had three free periods today. we played table tennis with the teacher's table, we played "squash" at the back of the classroom...with OUR CALCULATORS and a pingpong ball. -.- next, jansen's spikeshoe got THROWN OUT OF THE WINDOW from 7th floor can?! people were sleeping as if it was their homes. WE ROCK LAH. :P the next time, discipline master came in and LALALA. you should know what happened.
i made the most out of this opportunity and began snapping shots of all the sleeping people! haha. but im too tired to upload them now. perharps next time.
there was a headless thiru in class. HAHA.
training was xiong today. well at least to me. haha. we were jumping hurdles. AGAIN. this time i accidentally fell and landed with the hurdle in between my legs real hard and the hurdle was high okay! "ouch" went everyone. it was really heng leh! lucky my hip is high or else.... HAHA. cannot say.
it was really nice of mr khoo to send me home today. thanks alot sir! :D

i just so hate things the way they are.
four out of six jumps FOULED. in my last year in vs. i dont mind losing out on a medal, but it just had to be someone who doesnt really go training to take my placing with a one good jump that really got me on my nerves. i just so hate that feeling. at least i did a good distance which could have gotten me silver.. but it was a foul. -.-" argh. i just so hate competition.
life is really unfair. it's always the result people bother about, not the effort put in. that's the way people judge you in sports. i bet he is going to go on bragging about his achievement when he did not train. i just get so sick and tired of all these competitions. when i go jc i'll go join some "i love to read books" club.
competition in sports. competition in studies. competition in everything else. i just hate this sort of competitive lifestyle i have now. i really wish i was not in such an enviroment. is that the reason why so many people are migrating away? to run away from the competition of the society. i guess so.
i still dont know what would be the outcome. shall leave it to God.
got back my report slip today. results were average. l1r5 13 msg 3.0 overall percentage 69.8. i deserved it lah. never put in effort.
BUT the weirdest thing was that mr ho gave me the following remarks:
it says : Jonathan is showing signs of a spectacular progress in his grades. Strive harder in the weaker areas. This could be the precursor to his academic glory.
*now mentioning about the line in bold*
my reply to him when i received my slip was like : sir, are you trying to be sarcastic here? haha.
so cool la. i didnt know deproving meant that i was showing signs of a spectacular progress. anyway thanks sir for your nice remarks! :)
and finally, i am so glad it is THE END of the most pressurizing, stressful and the most let-down week of the year. i've never been faced with so many problems in a week before. maybe the greatest miracle God has done this week is that i am still alright. :)

things seem to be going wrong these few days.
first thing. SPORTS HEATS. haha. i didnt know people deprove so much when they go training. cool!
second thing. english PRELIM oral today. it's PRELIM LEH. and i just blew my best opportunity and chance. i didnt even go practise reading the picture. why? because i didnt know what to say. during oral i made ALOT OF MISTAKES and said ALOT OF WRONG STUFF. really! i guess i was too nervous. oh well...life goes on. better to make mistakes now than during the o's :D
third thing. my ipod spoil AGAIN. -.-" haha. nvm la.
BUT...
the weird thing is i am not that bothered leh! it's really really weird. normally i will feel very argh!! but now like nothing leh.. :D

today during service i sat behind scary aunty. it was a first time.
halfway during service i received an sms from elgin.
tsk! i wonder who was it who sent the sms. *looks around*
today i shall tell the..
"Tale of Two Garlic Breads"
it was in the afternoon, jt was hungry. so he decided to bake some garlic bread.
the first one turned out..
chaota. -.-" they LIED. the instructions read "heat it in oven at 200 degrees celcius for 10-15min".
so jt had no choice but to eat his bread in pieces.
BUT. he didnt give up. and wanted to prove that.....
he could bake a piece of garlic bread properly. :D
so he tried again WITHOUT following the instructions and out came the second successful piece!
MORAL OF THE STORY : DONT COOK YOUR GARLIC BREAD TOO LONG AT 200 DEGREES. :P

one by one, incident by incident, year by year He dug them out.
all the hurtful incidents that i chose to hide within me all slowly dug out.
it was only the primary school incidents i was reminded of and there were so many.
all i could remember so vividly. somehow.
there was no escape from it, and i knew i had to face it today.
as i sat there and cried.
God was slowly helping me let go of them.
a time of moulding it is.
i think there's really much more i have to dig up and surrender.
i realised how much these events has shaped me into whatever character and different personalities i have over the years. how much i did to prove my worth to everyone. studies, sports and all. it was a thing of the past.
at least now i know how much God has brought me through and i THANK Him. :)

so fast and it's the end of the "holidays". i never studied, neither did i go out and enjoy myself much. :( so many movies i wanna watch just nobody to go with. maybe got lah. just that i not free. :( haha. out of the past 7 days i played lan 4times! i cant believe it. but dont get me wrong. im not addicted i only played for like 1hr+ per time.
it's really so sad when you know it's your LAST holiday and you dont get to go out and really relax. nevermind. i have to tell myself STUDYING IS FUN!!!
i think my dad loves me too much. all i did was to complain that there was no food for me to eat in the morning and the past few days and next thing at noon he came back with tons of pre-made food and THOSE NICE NICE CAKES for me to eat over the next few days. i really appreciate it alot. sometimes my words can really hurt people so much. my whole family's gone for their church conference, that's why im left to settle my own meals for these few days.
the fact is all of our parents love us alot. it's just that they have different ways of expressing themselves. and of their actions may be misunderstood by us such that we hate them and all. it really hurts their heart when they see us rebel against them and all.
so if you ever thought your parents are the worst or dont care about you, think again. even if they seldom have time to spend with you, they are still working hard to support you. raising a child in singapore isnt cheap you know? one child requires at least a few hundred thousand to be brought up till they're dependant. didnt know that? well now you do. :)
so let us all learn to love and show our appreciation for our parents by giving them the respect they deserve. :)

today was FUN!
morning went breakfast with elgin and sam. sam was really funny!
went home and had awesome QT!!
den after training went for dinner with leslie, elden, jiagui and julia after their movie.
den we share our weird experiences and other funny stuff. den we wanted to find the sky garden at paragon and ended up at weird places u would never find there!
so much more! haha.
night more fun to go out than day man!

YES! NO MORE THEORY EXAM EVER!
NOW I CAN TAKE MY PRACTICAL EXAMS IN PEACE.
i was quite paiseh today during the music examination.

BEHIND ME STILL PRI SCH KIDS.
NEXT TO ME STILL PRI SCH KID.
it really makes me stand out. so paiseh everybody so young den i so old. it was held in a ballroom can you believe it?! grade 1 to 5 all same room. that explains the drastic age difference.
LG discussion spoke much. i guess i better change my sechdule more for God and start praying more!
some things just keep recurring. good old memories that will be missed.
why does it always have to be this way?

today isnt my day.
it's really isnt.
what a way to end the term.
but i guess it's alright. :) not everything in life is meant to go smoothly.
the most important thing is still to have that joy of the Lord in my heart.
that alone is enough to put everything aside.

grade 5 theory exam tommorrow. it's been 8-9 years since i took my last theory paper.
and this will be the last i presume. no more boring theory anymore!
so quick yet unkowningly one term has passed.

TODAY IS A FUNNY DAY.
I BROKE A THERMOMETER DURING PHYSICS LAB LESSON.
IT GOES LIKE THIS..
JONATHAN TAN had itchy fingers. SO he fiddled around with the glass thermometer (those long long kind) in front of him. he soon became more daring and started trying to "bend" the thermometer. apparently, he THOUGHT that it would never break.
HOWEVER. HE WAS WRONG.
he looked at thiru and said..
"THIRU!!! IM ANGRY WITH YOU AND IM GOING TO BREAK THE THERMOMETER!!!"
so with the thermometer in his hands, he did whatever he did before thinking in complete deception that it would never happen.
AND THE THERMOMETER BROKE. GREAT.
haha. poor jonathan tan was left helpless and in a state of SHOCK AND ANGUISH. he had never thought that he would have broken the thermometer.
while in the foreground, his partner yap heng was busy laughing away together with thiru.
AND NEXT, YAPHENG STARTED RUBBING THE BORE OF THE THERMOMETER.
WHY? so that the mercury would expand and flow out of the thermometer. -.-"
THANKFULLY. blur, sotong, confused jonathan was made to pay ONE DOLLAR for a twenty dollar thermometer.
NEXT COMES THE SECOND FUNNY PART.
jonathan asked if he could bring the broken thermometer home as a soveneir
but the scary/fierce/pms physics lab aunty said no and threw the thermometer into the dustbin.
"SMART" jonathan sneakily went to retrieve his lost "treasure" from the dustbin when the aunty wasnt looking and kept it in his bag. he thought he was the greatest and wanted to bring it home and keep it in his room.
BUT HIS JOY WAS SHORT-LIVED.
not long later, the aunty started shouting "WHERE IS THE THERMOMETER?!! WHERE IS THE BOY?!!!" poor jonathan had no choice but to get a scolding and return back the thermometer.
THE END.
haha. it's really what happened okay! so now i've broken both test tubes and a thermometer! :D

To start off an extremely long post, we shall start with a boring thing. my sis's a level results. if u find this post too long. please at least read the last part. :D
my sister received her A level results yesterday and she did not too bad. A1 for chinese (so unlike her bro) A2 for GP, A for Art (duh), B for lit, C for theatre studies. you why she got a C?! because she studied for the wrong paper -.-"
a few funny and not so funny incidents happened over the past few days
Incident ONE.
Last night i accidentally fell asleep on my sister's bed and when she came home at 2am the whole house was woken up. you should get the picture by now :D she decided not to sleep on her bed cos she said her bed stinks of my perspiration. (LOL) and instead.....went to sleep on the sofa. OMG. so funny la. im sure her bed is much cleaner than the sofa.
Incident TWO.
Tuesday. me and clarence went for our first physics lesson at mavis tuition centre. when we knew our teacher was an indian i THINK i said "off light sure cannot see 1" =x oopss. sorry for racist remark. then towards the end of the lesson some guy went to switch off the lights from outside leaving the room PITCH BLACK..as in darker than night hike that type of black. HAHA. immediately, me and clarence started laughing like mad as we found out my statement has some truth in it. XD okay lah. all of us couldnt see each other regardless of race, language, religion, tall, short, fat, skinny, blah blah.
Incident THREE.
Tuesday. I FOUND OUT I NEARLY FAILED MY PHYSICS CA!! 17/30. haha. great. now my l1r5 would most probably be 13 or 14 thanks to b4 for english and b4/c5 for physics. 8/9 marks just for 2 subjects!!! so much so for the 3A1s and 1A2. this is what happens when you do not bring your pencil. -.-" anyway it's a good lesson for me. it shows me that if i do not put in effort, even my best two subjects (eng and phy) will do badly. :)
Incident FOUR.
Today. i found out that the entry mark to go into VJ is 4.5 points!! that so "spurred" me on lah. means i must get like 7points to confirm a place there. anyway i think my first three choices would be VJC, SAJC, ACJC in no terms of rankings. if i want to be a nerd i aim for vj, if i want to go same jc as church friends and travel less i go sa, if i want to have fun and enjoy jc life i go ac :D fair enough right.
Incident FIVE.
