The view from up there is always good, isn't it? 35 storeys above ground is certainly the highest I've ever ventured. I was so happy I tell you when I found that secret secret place. Haha. Okay, I'm quite random. I plan to go there at night one day.
Not to mention the 35 old crinky buttons in the old, worn down lift with an old man that appeared in the lift at the 35th storey but never got out. Amazing! I simply love such thrills.
I really want to find the abandoned railway track in Clementi and the abandoned Tang Dynasty themepark too. But sadly, I heard the tang dynasty place caught fire yesterday.
Oh boy, what am I posting man. Anyway, kudos to the 6 IP people. Their concert and busking event thingys raised approximately S$30,000 for the people in Burma! I'm so happy for them and the people in Burma.
I really miss London man!! And yes, I think I'm missing Vietnam too. I can't believe just one year ago I was in Vietnam with the floorballers. The land of the dongs, funny beef noodles, late night outs, etc. It was a blessing in disguise that my camera spoilt so I could like stop and stare (pun intended) and appreciate the place. I wanna go back London!!! AH. Dad said we'll be dropping by London at the end of the year before going I don't know where. But that means I have to suffer through A's first. :(
Okay, holidays now. Study, train and catch up with friends..

Sometimes in sports, the best team doesn't always win. In life, hardwork doesn't equate to success all the time. This coming July, I guess it's up to us to salvage something for the VJ guys sports. Whether or not it's possible, I guess it's all up to the team's determination, lady luck and of course the one above.
Anyway, this saturday VJ will be holding a mass busking event along Orchard Road. This event will be carried out from 1-7pm. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the people in myanmar. All proceeds will go directly to the Singapore Red Cross who will then directly transfer the food, medication, etc. to the people there. So you need not worry about it falling into the hands of the inhumane government officials. And by the way, the Singapore Red Cross is one of the few organisations from around the world that are allowed to enter into Myanmar.
Wayne, Samuel and myself will be performing outside Paragon at the following time slots at 1.15pm, 2pm, 2.45pm and 3.30pm. It's our first time playing together. Haha. Do come down and support us okay and don't forget to donate too!

I'm really so sick and tired of making all these sacrifices for a cause so pointless. Yet again, I myself find it so difficult from bringing myself away from it. Perhaps it's an emotional attachment or something else. I don't know. Sometimes I wish I could let it go so easily, but I can't. I wish I could stop putting in so much efforts into certain things. Nevermind.
I wake up each day, dreading the monotony of this life as an A level student. I really, really want to go out one day for an adventurous photographic outing. Then again, I won't have time.
Pardon my random rantings, the next post will be a more glorious one I hope? Perhaps the win of the soccer guys.

Anyway here are the photos I took from yesterday's soccer match where our soccer girls won SAJC 6-5 on penalties after drawing 1-1 during full time. It was a heart-pumping game. I tried my best to take whatever photos I could take from where I was seated.

Two-thumbs up for the soccer girls!After watching the girls soccer finals, I really feel so excited about nationals in July. Kuan Ren is really a super good captain. I really admire her for how she led her team to victory yesterday and the way she carried herself.
To my floorball team-mates who read this post, I really hope both the guys and girls can make it to the finals this year and share the same joy our soccer girls shared. On the girls side, don't be afraid and be confident! If they can do it, so can you! The soccer girls fought so so hard on court showing determination and perseverence. To the guys, let us all train hard and not be complacent and do what we do best.
And to the rest of the sports teams, I wish you all the best for your semi-finals and finals. :)

Today's training was good man! It's been quite some time since I felt quite happy after training. I think my line performed well today.
Tuition after training was such a killer man. I didn't have time to do my tuition homework and I was like struggling to stay awake during tuition. My legs ached really really badly. Thankfully the clock struck 1030 sooner than expected.
After tuition, I dropped by Jonathan Tee's house to borrow a telephoto lens. I'm quite excited for tomorrow cos I'll be able to take photos of the tennis and soccer matches! I really hope the soccer girls win the finals. They so so deserve to win man.
By the way, happy birthday Xiang Lin, may you have a good day tomorrow!

I must really blog about this. Today, we had a friendly against ITE Simei, a team which comprised of 10national team players. Halfway through the game, I got elbowed upwards at my jaw while I was tackling a player. If not for God's protection, I think I might have dislocated my jaw, as in seriously. Somehow I managed to turn away slightly so my jaw got only slightly injured and I continued playing after resting for a while. It was so close man.
I think we put up a really tough fight, despite knowing the fact that they're clearly the superior team. I really hope the team can work to our best together this year and win the championships. The draws for the matches are out and I think our group is rather fair. Go VJ!
On the other hand, I really hope my chemistry improves. I did my tutorials, studied for my test, gone for tuition but I still felt so lost and dumb during the test. Maybe it's time to exercise some faith.

I have to admit I'm really stressed up now.
Stressed up over knowing how much I do not know in my studies, stressed up about getting kicked out of the main squad, stressed up about whether we can win the championship in July, stressed up over the whole period in June, stressed up over performing for the busking at orchard road event, stressed up over the fact that I can do much about most things. 9pm maths tuition twice during a school week is really draining me, not forgetting that there is training before that.
I already do not know what to do. June is really a crazy terrible period of time when I have to train at least 4-5times a week and at the same time study both my year1 and 2 work for CT2. Goodness. I want to do well, I really want to do well.
Somebody tell me how.
Grrr. Well, at least I can say I have been in quite a good mood for the past two weeks, I think.

Yesterday was the last sports day for us, year2s. I'm a person who enjoys sports day a lot because I get to see my friends compete and all. I guess I was crazy to run 3 races yesterday, all in 1hour and now my legs are aching terribly. I couldn't even train properly today (yes, we have training even on labour day). We were rather disappointed that we lost the inter-cca race just by 0.1second when we had the best chances and all. Individual 100m race was not too bad and I think me getting 5th or 6th was quite lucky. Aquila house won cheerleading! But I'm quite speechless by cheerleading though, in a negative manner. I would like to thank all those who cheered for me and steffi and peiying for the subway cookie after the races. :D
07S47 with Haruka from JapanI rushed down with the other 07S47 people to suntec city to catch Iron Man and it was quite sad that we missed mass dance. Iron Man was below expectations but still above average as a movie. After which, we headed down to our favourite selegie tau huay and stayed there till it was late enough for us to go home.
What a memoriable day it was.
As for labour day, I spent it having training and wandering around town and city hall area to find some stuffs. I decided to give myself some time and space today. It was quite nice bumping into so many victorians today all over the place and it really made my day! :) Back to school tomorrow and to the doctor after school.
