OH YES. it's the general elections time. how nice it would be for us non-elligible voters to see the adults fight it out in rallies, through posters laid side by side and various other forms of media. HAHA. it's not like many young people these days are bothered with politics which they feel do not have an impact on their lives. so wrong are people who think in such a manner.
WHAT WOULD HAPPENED IF..
The PAP does not become the main political party, not being able to hold the majority of the seats (which has a 1 in a million possiblity). And let's just say.. all the other opposition parties have decided to form ONE common political party, leaving the PAP out of power. (i'm not too sure if such a thing is possible)
And let's just say that certain party decided that COMMUNISM WOULD BE THE BEST WAY FOR THE GROWTH OF SINGAPORE AS A NATION. perharps secretly they have been busy reading the works of Karl Marx and admiring the political control Lenin and Stalin had on their communist nations. HAHA.
AND THEY WERE SO FIRM IN THEIR STAND OF COMMUNISM AND CARRIED IT OUT. HDB buildings are converted into mass factories for the building of perharps errr... silicon chips? students are given no options of their choice of education and all they have to study is...WHY XXXXX IS THE BEST AND MOST HANDSOME LEADER OF ALL THE LEADERS IN THE WORLD. There would be communal estates where people lived together and there would be canteens in every building that served the same old food EVERYDAY. there would be no freedom of speech and "The Perfect 10 98.7fm" is replaced by propaganda radio stations. HOW INTERESTING ISN'T IT? well, that's not all. fashion is history. clothes are mass produced for the nation bearing the SAME DESIGN AND FORM. and the list goes on.
VERY SOON, TWO SENARIOS CAN HAPPEN.
THE FIRST- people are being oppressed and revolts are easily put down. the UN gets to know about the situation and America being the "savior from communism" intervenes and sends their troops into singapore just as it happened in iraq. the feeble communist were easily put down and the americans decide to run singapore and TATA. singapore becomes democratic again.
THE SECOND- people begin to hate the way the country is ran. their displeasure is manifested in the form of riots and protesting. thousands of people roam the streets destroying everything communist they see. people are killed. but in the end the poor communist party is overthrown. and democracy is restored.
HAHA. sorry i know my imaginations are abit wild. but you see.. this is the most extreme extent of how choosing the wrong party can lead singapore to her grave. but obviously that won't happen.
ANYWAY, IM NOT PRO-COMMUNIST OR ANYTHING. neither am i a strong supporter of karl marx, lenin, stalin, mao zedong or whatever communist leader. SO PLEASE DONT GET ME WRONG. I AM ONE HUNDRED AND ONE PERCENT IN SUPPORT OF DEMOCRACY.

i think 4F is the most siao class. i mean like seriously!
take for example. yapheng has two digimons with him today and yesterday which i THINK he confiscated.. and now he's playing with it in class. -.-" like that's so err... primary school.
HAHA.
during english lessons. A FULL THREE PERIODS was spent throwing paper balls with varying sizes. paper balls flew all over the class while the teacher was in front giving one-to-one teaching. and he was oblivious to everything that was going on!!! LOL!!!!
it was "Dennis, sean james and co." AGAINST "the chipmunk gang". HAHA. i took sides with dennis. super fun lah. everybody run here run there with the teacher in class.
during recess we had 2 on 2 soccer with the paper ball at the back of the class (with the chair being the goalpost) and the teacher was still in front teaching. -.-" there were only 4 of us - me, winston, thiru and kunalan. it was CHINESE AGAINST INDIANS. WAHAHAHA. chinese won 3-1.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT'S THE BEST THING? tommorrow is midyear and my class is still playing during lessons.
WHICH IS A GOOD THING. :P
actually to think of it, it's always like that every other day. =\

anyway 27 is only average in my class. darren got 36/40 can?! -.-"

today was NAFA 5 items day. and i have came to a conclusion. THAT I WILL DEPROVE EVERY YEAR!!! AHHH!!! yeah. it didn't matter whether it was a gold or a 27 points but then... I DEPROVED AGAIN!! i wanted this year to be the 3rd year in a row i could get a perfect score of 30. =\ and i deproved for ermm..situps, sit and reach, sbj.
i mean like real bad lah. my sec2's nafa was much better. the only thing i improved was my shuttle run which improved like erm... 0.1secs to 9.5secs? from sec2. wow. that is sooooo much "improvement".
worse of all...STANDING BROAD JUMP I GOT A B. AHHHHH. 235cm. i missed by like 2-3cm? it's totally a disgrace for vs jumps. =\ i did a 246cm in sec2 btw. i don't know what to say.
haha. okay. enough of my rantings and hard-feelings. IT'S OVER ANYWAY. :D perharps i shall retake it in july.
i'm really tired from the past 2 days of intense studying of organic chem and all. i mean it's like madness.. but thankfully it's over for now. i decided to take a break today.
oh yeah. if you do not see me online that often that is because im always appearing offline. appearing offline saves me alot of time wasted on msn. i shall save the online status for sundays or for other times when i need to come online! haha.
my sister's going for mission trip to some part of indonesia tommorrow! yay! just kidding. it's only for a week. :(
just now me and some classmates were at isetan TOY SECTION. and MY GOODNESS. im so jealous that kids these days have such interesting and facinating toys. AHHHHH. i think im still a kid trapped in a grown-up body. HOPE NOT. we bought sean james a REALLY HUGE stuff toy for his birthday and i just cant wait to see him carry it around school tommorrow. HAHA.
haha. im so happy it's really over i think!! it had no effect on me!! :P

siglap starbucks is so gonna be my favourite study place from now on. i THINK. i went there today after history/ss makeup with ben wee. i had been inspired by my fellow classmates and felt very motivated when i actually see them staying back in school to study/play. HAHA. of course i know if i stay in school i wont be able to study.
i was quite shocked lah. because i stayed there and studied from 4.30-9pm taking minimal breaks! it's four and a half hours leh! on a schoolday! i got quite shocked too. cos normally on a schoolday i will be too tired to do anything and would just go home and SLEEP.
Why siglap starbucks?
1. It's quiet.
2. The table size is just nice and the two other chairs can put your bag, file etc.
3. The ambience very nice.
4. The food is expensive so i wont go buy anything to eat and get distracted. (but of course i have to buy a drink lah)
5. I can't sleep there because the table is too small for me to sleep on. HAHA.
6. It's within walking distance from VS
7. Because i can actually study there (which is really shocking cos i'm the can't study outside kind)
8. The staff there are nice and friendly
LOL. it's as if they paid me a sum to advertise them on my blog. but i really like that place! the only downside is that it would be quite costly to continously go there every other day and that....the aircon is too cold for me. -.-" that's what happens when you dont put on weight.
maybe i shall try studying in school till late at night. the school canteen is also quite quiet at night and people study there till 10+ at night everyday!
now i feel so motivated! but i know i won't do well for my mid years. seriously. i am totally so not prepared. oh well it's not that i did not want to, but it was just the circumstances that held me back. :D
anyway to everyone taking their mid-years..ALL THE BEST AND GOOD LUCKS.
LET'S ALL LOOK AT IT POSTIVELY..
MIDYEARS = GO HOME EARLIER AND CAN DON'T GO SCHOOL ON CERTAIN DAYS :D
haha! but it's true what! we, the core geog students have a long weekend from thursday to sunday on the 2nd last week of our exams!

FORTY MINUTES LATER.
I FINALLY MANAGED TO MAKE THAT TEMPLATE SUIT BOTH BROWSERS. YAY.
sorry ah if i sound very retarded or so. i customised this blog using notepad -.-" and not some cheem webpage editor software. so i feel quite happy becauses it took me alot of effort and trial and error! haha.
i didnt know what to put for the header, so somehow i decided to put the photo i took of hyde park in london with the phrase "Freeze time. Be still. Hear HIM" with "HIM" referring to God. because many times i tend to be so busy and caught up with my hectic lifestyle, and the solution may be just to remain silent and hear from HIM.
yup. i decided to change my blog template to a more matured-themed template because i feel i should do so.
i must really give credits to whoever created this. i just happened to chanced upon a blogsite and decided to change the template for my own usage.
today i had my chinese mid year oral examination. and i couldn't believe that i finished it in like erm...TEN MINUTES?! i had to admit i LAUGHED during the passage reading when i found out i couldn't read the passage for nuts. LOL. secondly, my conversation only lasted five minutes while others were like ten to fifteen minutes. i did not even talked much. OH WELL. we shall wait and see whether i failed.
boon siew was the person in front of me. he's the best lah. all of sudden i heard him saying "what the ****" in front of the oral examiner (dingni) while he during his conversation part. pro sia! dingni was quite shocked and taken aback. then i don't know what happened. moral of story: don't colour your language too much , for a slip of the tongue may cost you much.
it's getting late. i better go sleep now.

LOL. first time i see such a mc. i asked him to let me bring it back just to scan it. wahahahha.
sorry i know im lame.
apparently there's been alot of discussions going on about that gay blog. i certainly have my doubts against it and i have a strong feeling it is made up. HOPEFULLY. not it would be really disturbing.
today in class there were religious debates as usual. haha. my class is really too open. but it was really LOL . those comments. even mr ho heard those comments and went -.-" the details of the debates are too sensitive to be posted here as it may lead to religious disharmony in singapore. HAHA.
it's been 1 week and a day since my injury and my chest bone there is still pain! argh! i still havent told my parents or done anything about it. i dont know if i should go see a doctor. there just isnt much time for me to do so :( adding to my problems, nafa 5items test is next week!
NEVERMIND, i shall wait another week :D

tommorrow's a school holiday so i can blog at this time.
jansen is already disturbing enough whether acting or real-life. but something made me even more disturbed.
a few days ago i happened to chanced on this really disturbing blogsite. apparently it has become quite popular and famous in such a short span of time. just look at the rate people are tagging on that blog.

disturbing isnt it? it seems our society has degraded to such an extent. gay blogsites. of people how old? not much older than me. and it's not like they're some hideous looking guys who can't get to jio out any girls.

what is the world coming to.. i guess it has already been around for quite some time, it's just that people are even more open to a whole new level.

HAHA. junliang got featured on the front page of the sports section of today['s straits times! so cool sia. got 1 page to himself.
the moment i saw the article i was like LOL because got ____________ there. sorry junliang. because he always get teased because of that.
im actually quite worried about my rib bone that area. it's still hurting real bad and i have my long jump this sunday. i have a bad feeling i injured something internally. last night i tried doing just two pushups and all of a sudden there was this sharp pain in my chest area. like as if my heart got misplaced. it was the first time i got so anxious about my health. i havent told my parents yet. i hope i didnt break or injure any bone seriously.
i told myself today im going to start on my mid year studying sechdule. HOWEVER, my sister has a party in the house -.-" and there are like at least 20 or more people. and they're all girls -.- so noisy. i think it's evangelistic. even john's sister is here and ahem's crush also here. i hope i can study. haha! my sister really so popular.

this will be a more detailed and with many photos added version of yesterday! so if you have the patience to go through everything.. then carry on.. :)
during chem practical lesson we had LOADS OF FUN mixing the chemicals around (which we wont supposed to do). we got all different sorts of colours and all! junhe the best.. he mixed all the chemicals in the rack and you know what happened?
THE TEST TUBE MELTED!!! can u believe that?!?!?! he left it to stand, next moment there was a hole at the bottom of the test tube and the contents flowed out. SO COOL LAH. that reaction was so exothermic. even miss lyana was quite shocked.
i was SO INSPIRED by junhe's great find that i decided to go and mix all the chemicals found in the lab with each other and we took photos of the various chemicals formed. i was so carried away with my "experiment" that i FORGOT TO DO MY EXPERIMENT.
so in the end i got whacked VERY HARD like 5-6times by miss lyana on the back and so did my whole row because of me. LOL. yapheng got hit because he prefect. thiru got hit because he chem rep. winston also hit. why? i also dunno why. HAHA. the best part was that jansen was recording her whack us with his digicam. HAHA. we're thinking of posting onto u-tube.com for fun.

VS won 1st for both C and B division for national schools cross country AGAIN!
our best runner had chicken pox 3weeks ago and thankfully we still won!
jonathan edwards is the best man! he managed to get third making him the fastest runner of vs! so proud of him.
haha. b boys we won acsi by ONE POINT. awwww. so much so for their 17 year old runners.
jonathan edwards got interviewed by straits times too!
yup. had a proper game of floorball during PE with the barricades and all. and yes i fell very badly into the barricade and the sharp corner of the baricade pierced in a way into the top part of my ribcage. thankfully it wasnt bleeding. but it was like awfully pain. it felt as if a blunt dagger was piercing into my chest. it left a horrible V-shaped scar and it still hurts now. i think the bone got bruised or something.
yup. i shall blog more in detail about cross country and chem lab tommorrow with photos included. :)

firstly i just remembered i have to pay tribute to my sec1 maths teacher who passed away this week.
his name is mr tay. everybody will remember him as being a interesting teacher, putting it in a nicer way. i shall not fill in the blanks. everybody loved teasing him in sec1 and 2.
and now hes gone. it's really quite shocking. at first i thought it was a joke. but i realised it wasn't.
oh well. life is so fragile isnt it? the second teacher i knew who died. first one was pri sch teacher last time.
yesterday it was really fun at the party.
after that it was really God's timing and leading. i had an opportunity to share with the taxi driver who sent me back. and he accepted the Lord back into his life again!! i was quite shocked lahhh. hope he gets back to church :)

ENGLISH TUITION. oh ENGLISH TUITION.
oh yes. i have to go for ENGLISH TUITION. i volunteered myself.
i thought i would be all so lonely, entering a whole new enviroment filled with strangers and weird teachers.
HOWEVER, I WAS WRONG.(maybe not)
brandon chua, my primary school classmate of three years, who was one of my best friends(i think) was in the same class. our first reaction was like that msn :O kind. after we seperated in secondary school, we had ceased contact and seldom contacted each other. he's same class as clarence now! in primary school we were like the same height and 2nd tallest in class. and now. VOOMMMM. he's like so much taller than me! good thing im not so tall. i want to grow no more.
also in my class, was my next block neighbour.
and my. the teacher got slang man. i like people with slangs. haha! and he's those type of western influenced kind and very open-minded in speech in my perspective. oh well. :)
1 more week to Good Friday.
next week's the nationals inter-school cross country. my favourite. :) it's like taking a walk down memory lane. and the past keeps recurring and hitting me hard. good memory may not always be good. i dont know why.
it seems i can remember and relate most incidents so well even though i was like few years old or perharps to a minor chatlog. i still can remember. but the irony is that, i cant remember the syllabus. haha! sounds familiar? maybe it really shows where my focus lies. :)
analyse everything critically and do not make simple conclusions. apply those skills we learnt from history. :)

i've had it. i am so angry with myself. i just so easily used the computer for THREE HOURS. PLAYING. not that it's uncommon but still, mid years are coming.
i am so angry with myself for a lack of self control.
i am just so worried about my present attitude..it's my o levels year and i am so slack!!! and even more slack than in sec3. this cannot do.
i made a promise. that i am going to delete counter-strike. i just have to. in fact i just did. i also feel like deleting my msn messenger. but unfortunately i cant.
if you see me online, please ask encourage me not to stay online too long if i am. THANKS ALOT. :)
i should learn from the sparrows in matthew 6. how they dont worry for the future and God provides for them.
i'll just have to entrust everything to God.
2006 is really a year of faith for me. so many decisions i have to make. all i cant do in my own strength.

today is 1st april. it is also april's fool day.
AND I GOT TRICKED. haha.
it goes like this..
during worship practice, jansen messaged me
"Eh your spikes are with me you know. you forgot to bring home the other day!"
"Really? how come? den u just found out?" i replied him after service
"Haha that time you left it in school la blur clown. so i took it home for you lor. i'll pass to you on monday if i remember to bring." he replied
"Haha. ok. please bring on monday. i going training.." i replied.
MOMENTS LATER.. as i was walking out of church, my handphone rang with its "melodious" chirping of birds. -.- it was jansen. "EH JT, YOU DAMN BLUR CAN?! I TRICK YOU ONE LEH!!! HAHAHA. I KNOW YOU VERY BLUR SO I COME TRICK YOU. HAHAHA." he said or something like that. (please note his speech was summarised)
LOL. so cool right. i so long havent get tricked! and i was like shocked.. all along i really thought i left my spikes in school while the last time i went school for training was on tuesday. oh well. i always lose my spikes so it wasnt a shock to me after hearing it. but stilll...SO COOL..i fell for his trick!! haha.
today was my first time playing keyboard in youth service. thankfully i wasnt that nervous. service was really awesome. God's presence so strong and his conviction really came upon on all of us, we all cried out, we wept for this generation. i believe God is really bringing rgen into a new season.
great! i just got tricked by another person on msn! so cool.. means i got tricked twice! haha im just such a gullible fool. haha. it's okay. i will still be one! :D
