I Thank God for 2010.
I thank God for 2010. Not because it has been a smooth-sailing and pleasant year as some might think, but because of what He has brought me through.
I will remember 2010 as the year I did the most nonsense in my life but also the year I set my feet back on track.
I didn't really share this with anyone, but during one of the night sessions during a camp in june, one of the church pastors prayed over me and mentioned this to me amongst many other things- that I will lose some close friendships this year and I will form more strong friendships. At that point of time, it left me utterly confused. But now the year has ended, and I understood what he meant. I thank God for the new friendships I now have.
2010 was also the year I completed my national service. People hate serving the army, and I can agree with them to a certain extent, but it's through this whole time when I learnt how to appreciate the people and things around me. Yes, I have met many bad characters in the army and sadly they are christians which makes things worse, but I believe this people are put in our life to shape us.
Even as the year comes to a close, that's so much I really wish to share. Recently, I have been thinking a lot of what I want to do in future when I grow up. I don't know why but this crazy idea came to me today about doing short-term missions trips when I grow up (the few months kind). I think it would be super cool to quit school and go do missions! I mean afterall, you don't need a degree to have a heart for people right? Don't worry I won't quit school! I feel that unless we make an impact in the lives of others, life will really be such a meaningless bore. We don't live for ourselves, really.
Anyway, I have to go now. I'm really looking forward to 2011, everything about it! 2011's gonna be so exciting! :D

I felt soo convicted I just had to do it.
I just 'cleansed' my iPod and deleted away around 2GB worth of songs I deemed as unhealthy from it. I felt abit heart-pain because it's mostly all gone but I know it's something I should have done a long time ago.
Back to the days when my iPod was filled with mainly christian songs! Let's see how long can this last! (Btw, here's a fun fact! I spent almost my whole secondary school life listening to christian music. Hence if you asked me about most songs back then I probably don't know much. :P)

Long time no post!
There's so many awesome things happening in my life right now which I really wanna share with everyone and all! So do ask me if you are interested because simply posting on my blog defeats the purpose somehow.
I'm still pondering whether I shall shut this blog down after the donkey years it has been around.
I was really toying with the idea of setting up my own domain for my portfolio after talking to Juli, so I could wander into freelancing.
Ok, I shall give myself a challenge, that is to take a photo within the next 1week before the 25th and post a photo that signifies christmas for me this year.
So wait for it people!!
