So many things have been happening lately, both awesomely high and low. Not much of a purpose going into every bit of detail. But here's it.
Sister's back and still trying to get used to one more person in the house, not to mention in about 3weeks time we're moving into a single-level unit that is one third smaller than our present house. Awesome. (I really mean it! I'm very excited.)
Getting used to everyone around me being so very busy and all. Makes me feel like an abnormal person just because I make it a point to initiate conversations and catch up with people, making me seem very free. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only side that bothers to maintain the friendship? Army guys are busy too okay, it's just that we very much want to try our best not to lose touch with the outside (civilian) world. And yes, losing touch with the world is sad. Try it, you won't like it. Period.
Having one of the most awesomest day of the year, only to then realise everything ended right after 2330.
Seeing close friend of mine getting hitched, I was abit surprised! If you're seeing this my close friend, you ought to be studying!
Starting driving next week, in an odd fashion, a jeep lesson.
Losing my darn ID only to find it back after one hour of panicky searching, by the grace of God.
Have not been to the movies in a terribly long time and is dying to see a movie like soon soon. I really miss the days in Unit Induction Programme when I had my movie khakis benard & bob to watch movies with.
It's weird now I don't feel like staying out because I want to spend more time getting to know my men because everyday I'm just learning new things in life by talking to them. People whom I know I will never have a chance to interact with outside. Some of them are just so simple and humble they make me question what's up with us, the so-called "intellects" of society who think we have it all.
Finally, when I have a terrible day, watching "How I Met Your Mother" just so totally makes my day and it makes me laugh so hard for a moment I feel fortunate that even though no one's there I still have my itouch keep me smiling.
That sums up a whole lot of blabber. I really wished I had a photo to accompany this post, but the film has been running dry. And so that's how the cookie crumbles.
Cause if you close your eyes and listen close
You can hear the chapter close
And its all rebound in better clothes
And you like the way this story goes
Cause the sun still burns the shadows out
And there's nothing to complain about now

It's been some time since I've felt so happy. Just being happy for that period of time allows you to somewhat forget all the problems that are tugging at your waist. Push them aside for that very moment. It's good once in a while to just "forget" your problems and just be happy. But I guess once everything is over, reality knocks on the door and gives you a big kick. But even then, be thankful that we've lived to be happy at least once before, because happiness is a gift. Ain't it?
I'd rather forget and not slow down
Than gather regret for the things I can't change now
If I become what I can't accept
Resurrect the saint from within the wretch
Pour over me and wash my hands of it
Been a big fan of them since like uh, sec2? haha.

Tough times don't last,
Tough men do.
