It is indeed a brand new year 2006! A brand new year calls for a brand-new blogskin yeah? It was on purpose that the blogskin was changed today okay! Yup. I have decided to keep my blogskin simple this time round. And oh yes it's in orange (one of my fav colours) and white! No more black,dark and gloomy templates! :D Do watch this blog for i will be adding more stuffs like a photo album? :)

This very first post of 2006 will be a long and reflective post. How can i simply not make use of this post summarizing this great, wonderful year i have. 2005 has indeed been the most meaningful year of my life but maybe not the most fun in terms of going out etc. But going out and having fun isnt all to life! I certainly have so much to thank God for. And of course i would like to thank all the people who has made 2005 a memoriable 2005. :) Please bear with me for i have many things to thank God for! (not ranked in terms of importance)


10 Things i would like to thank God for in 2005:
  1. For a wonderful lifegroup I.G.N.I.T.E :D
  2. A great class 3F
  3. Helping me improve so much on the piano
  4. Good results
  5. Strength to sustain through school life
  6. Bringing my family closer
  7. Opportunities to share and reach out
  8. Jiawei's salvation
  9. Blessing me with a keyboard
  10. And not to forget, all the people who has encouraged me through the year. Your encouragements mean alot to me and has kept me going! :)

10 Things God has done in my life in 2005:

  1. Helped me get over somebody after 1-2years of trying
  2. Brought me out of my bondage of depression :)
  3. Given me courage and boldness to believe in myself
  4. Empowering me to do many things for Him i am unable to do
  5. Given me true joy in my heart to smile with real cheerfulness :D
  6. Helped me do away with many bad habits
  7. Changed my wrong perspectives of many things
  8. Changed the way i live my life
  9. Brought me through my end-of-year exams (one of my toughest trials)
  10. And not to mention, He has drawn me much closer to Him! :D

10 Unforgetable moments of 2005 to thank God for:

  1. Camp Accelerate! (esp evangelistic bbq)
  2. Mission Trip to KL! (more like holiday :X)
  3. Adventure Unlimited! (it's fun being game marshal)
  4. Yesterday! (new year's eve at elgin's place where my modesty was outraged)
  5. Sentosa outing! (with jake and jas)
  6. Christmas celebration and carolling! (falalala)
  7. Holiday trip to Europe! (*jaw-drop*)
  8. Wild wild wet and Escape outing! (with anna,cal,malcolm,stan)
  9. National Schools Track and Field competition! (VS rocks!)
  10. All the other small movie and east coast outings :)

Finally, What I would like to see God do in my life in 2006:

  1. Have a deeper relationship and worship life with Him
  2. To have more faith and trust in Him
  3. To use me to do something great for Him in VS
  4. Grant me good leadership skills
  5. Help me be of good peer influence
  6. Be less critical in my speech
  7. Think positively
  8. Think more for others and be less self-centered
  9. Be a more helpful and gentlemenly person
  10. Deal with the area of pride

If you're still reading this at this very moment, congratulations! Thanks for making an effort to read through this list of 40 items which might not be of any relevance to you. But it really means alot to me as God has really done so much and helped me so much in 2005, so much so that not testifying about how much He helped me would let Him down. And trust me, there's still much more, it's just that my memory isnt really that good.

2006 will prove to be a challenging year to me. I will be taking three major examinations i presume. Music Grade 5 theory and pratical (i know it's not very high =\) and of course not to mention, the GCE O levels. I would like to wish all other O level students who will be sharing the same burden all the best for your studying! :) You will be most welcomed to join my "I am a nerd club" Haha! Just kidding.
