gong xi fa cai! hello hello! it's cny once again!
yesterday was a blast. we had our dearest china friends on a exchange program with us. WOW. it was a great opportunity to practise my "china" accent. LOL. i said many wrong things this week. i guess it's the post sickness syndrome or something! i've never said that much stupid things before! first time kena so many f___ and b______ words in so few days.
cny celebrations were abit different this year. we had..... VS IDOL -.- great. china boy won. what to do.. the songs can only be in their mother tongue.
after school we went town and was supposed to catch memoirs of a geisha but ended up watching fearless which was nc-16. lol. the aunty was like asking ben "you all over 16?" den he just replied "ya ya ya". haha. the movie is super good la. nc-16 cos of violence.
in the evening we went to marina south to celebrate dud's bdae at the steamboat bbq place! we sat on a lorry there cos the shop people come and ferry us there. and it was lyk OMG. sit on the planks like some illegal foreign workers being shipped around. the wind went SMACK into our faces.
the steamboat was quite fun. our table steamboat got problem! and apparently somebody called a*** brought notes to a steamboat bbq to study?!! and obviously the person didnt. the sickest part was the cooking of the live prawns. omg man. it's worse then what i did in the vj track dinner in 2004!! the prawn head was cooked red and the body wasnt cooked and the legs were still wriggling?!!?!!! den swing the prawn here and there. bang the prawn on the table until die. dip in dip out of the boiling soup. what else man? haha. dont worry. it was mainly 1 person not all of us. i videoed some of it down. HOR!
den came the shiok part. we dumped like dunno how many lumps of butter into the pot and cooked the prawns in the boiling butter! butter prawns!! den we put in the mantou in side and it became... BREADED PRAWNS.. LOL. so not right. eat until i went home vomit. no words can sum up what happened in the cooking and eating process. looks like 1week of training effort was gone in a night :(
den we celebrated his bdae with a cake. apparently i tink only 1 slice of the cake was eaten and the rest was all over the place on various people. CLARENCE CHNG NOW WE'RE EVEN :) yup. that's to sum up a great day with some pics below.
