SEVENTEEN days has passed since i last blogged. I told myself i would not blog till exams are over and I did not compromise. The past one month has certainly been the most stressful month I have ever encountered in the recent years of my life. Studying a few hours everyday not mentioning the 3hours intervals is no joke.

I admit I have never studied that much before. However, what a contradictary statement I would make when I say I would not do too well. Such an irony do exists. Sadly. The tables have been turned on me once again. All my best subjects turned out to be the toughest papers once again as history repeated itself from a very devastating mid year examinations. Results havent been going too well either. The class average for EMATHS is 5.5. Wonderful. Not to mention it's EMATHS. A subject that's supposed to pull up your L1R5.

It's only two more days will we then receive the results of our hard and maybe not so hard toiled effort we have placed into our studies. The more time and effort you place into a subject, the more stressed you would be before and during the paper. Stress is NOT a good thing. It drives you crazy. It has driven my sister mad, not to mention her stupid actions due to her upcoming A levels. It has droven me mad. I couldnt take it once and cried it all out.

It certainly awed me at how much God helped me through this gruelling one month of my life. The strange thing is that this one month of my life certainly has been the peak of my spiritual life as well. Everything just falls into place. I spend so much more time with God everyday, at the same time been able to spend long hours studying and i have to admit relaxing. Most of the time people would say "Exams coming, no time to spend with God" and thus they compromise. For my case I would say the most challenging part is HOW am I going to carry on this consistency even AFTER the examinations. Strangely I find it harder after the examinations due to such a large amount of distractions knocking at the door of my life.

It is also really through this gruelling one month that I have strangely spent at least an hour or more everyday on the piano. The bond between me and the piano has deepened so much. However so, my classical piano still isnt up to standard. Oh well. Some people are just less talented then others. That's the part where PRACTICE plays its role.

Another significant thing that has played a significant role in my past month is this common everyday thing known as "coffee". I seriously have no idea how much dosage of coffee i drank to keep me awake for the past month.

Many exam experiences are still running through my mind now. From the helpless state I was when I was dumbfounded at a question in a physics paper. My mind ran wild, my thoughts were racing against time as I calmed myself down only to find there was insufficient time for the remaining questions. Once again, my best subject has let me down. Physics, what a disaster.

Then came the fateful day my hand suffered the most. TWO HUMANITIES in a day. WOW. Geography and History Elective it was. I caculated that I used a total of 12pages, both sides used for the two papers combined. 4 for history and 8 for geography. This was all finished in a mere span of 3hours and 45minutes. You can imagine the agony my fingers were undergoing. But i had to admit, it was FUN! How often do you get to use 24sides of a foolscap at ONE SHOT.

After so much big and small talk, I really have to owe everything that has happened or will happened to God. Without him I think I would most probably give up and fail my examinations or something worse. I really have to thank him for my SS and history. Seriously I didnt study much for SS. All i did was pray and ask Him what to study and the only two chapters i studied came out for SEQ. Amazing. History was even better. It was 1130am the night before. I was panicking as I HAVE NOT touched my history book at all. I prayed once again on what to study and I felt led to study policy of appeasement. One small section it was, and it came out for SEQ. How much God has helped me is really amazing. Praying before studying do helps! That's all I have to say. All glory be unto God!
